This is my 2nd BD for my anniversary Q.  I was so surprised when I saw all these cars pulling into the parking lot.  I got a little nervous leading 19 PAX that I stumbled and said “high Straddle hop” in stead of “side Straddle hop”.  For the warm ups we did the following:

  • Mosey around parking lot
  • Side straddle hop
  • Empirial Walker
  • Weed Picker
  • Sun gods
  • Michael Phelps

Then we all lined up horizontally in the parking lot and we got into a 3-point stand.  When ever I said “Hut” we would spring to the first light pole.  The catch was, I would give the pax warning that it could be 1-hut, or 2-hut, or 3-hut.  Whomever got offsides, we all would do 5 burpees.  The first one I said we will take off on 2-huts.  Well the first one always gets someone, sure enough i got @shortcircuit and we all got down and did our 5 burpees.  I did this 4 more times but was not able to get anyone else offsides.  We then mosey to the back of the school to start the beatdown.  I had 4 cones setup in a rectangle and split the group in 2 to make space for the workouts.  We had to do 25 reps of each work out at every cone or corner of the rectangle.  So each pax had to run to each cone and do 25 reps of the BD.  The only gotcha to this was during the long side of the rectangle, they had to do a plank walk along the bus parking lines.  (I told them to bring gloves but some didn’t listen). On the other long side, they had to do high knees from one corner to the other.  For the most part , both groups  stayed together and had some great mumble chatter.  3 mins till COT, we all mosey back to the flag and GP lead us in merry till the 6th got in.  Cot was great as we named our 2 FNGs, then thanks to short circuit for bringing coffee for the coffeeteria.

  • LBC
  • In place lunges
  • T-Claps (overhand claps)
  • Under Knee Claps
  • Jump Squats
  • Burpees (Over achievers) – No one made it to this exercise.
