It was a cold, dark, foggy morning. No seriously, it was foggy!  The fog rose out of weird areas like sewer drains and over tree tops… well I guess that’s not too strange.

Warm-o-Rama:

We moseyed over to the front of the middle school and in the middle of the road, did our warm up.  Side Straddle Hops, Imperial Walkers, Weed Pickers and a ring of fire with Merkins, counting down from 3 each, then 2 each, then 1 each… unless you’re Trill and not listening and then you do 3 Merkins each time.

Then we moseyed over to the Grapes of Wrath!  Dun dun duuuuun!!!!!

The Thang:

11’s at the Grapes of Wrath.  I never Q’d a beat down using the Grapes of Wrath and now I know why.  Poor Pig Knuckled slipped and sprained his ankle!  Dang it!

At the bottom, Derkins beginning at 1 and working up.  At the top, Dips on the railing.

After that round of 11’s we moseyed over to the front of the middle school where we did 11’s.

10 Dips at the bottom and 1 Merkin at the top.  We worked opposite what we just did.  When we were done there, we moseyed over to the front of the middle school and found a bench.

Guess what?  We did 11’s.  Starting with 1 Dip and running to the island and did inclined merkins on the side walk.  I also like to call these Nipple Scraping Merkins (Thanks Foosball!).

When we were done with those 11’s.  We ran back to the flag and lined up on the railing in front of the fence and did dips until the six came in.  Then we circled up for the last minute or so and did Wide Merkins to 10, followed by diamond merkins until time.

COT

At the COT, HoneyPot was the six man.  He shared about his bees, work, and family, asking for prayers to have a solid work-life balance.  Something we all strive for.  Lizard King asked for prayers for his M as she recovers from knee surgery.  Oh, and by the way, we had 11 guys today.  Today was a day of 11’s.

I also shared that we would all be looking at our triceps in the mirror.  The picture is a before and after of my arms.  LOL!

Finally, we all need friends to do life with.  I have been reading the Four Loves by C.S. Lewis.  Lewis encouraged his readers to develop those friendships with others – 2-5, where you can share life and encourage each other along through the ups and downs.  F3 is certainly a good place to begin and strengthen those friendships.  None of us should go through life alone, but if you are feeling that, please reach out.
