YHC was proud of all the PAX who showed up for the publicized Covid-19 antidote today.   In honor of the fight to prevent the spread of Cvid 19, we embraced the perfect blend of legs, abs and arms to strengthen our bodies for battle.

The PAX performed 19 of each (OYO) and then took a lap around the parking lot, and repeated the C.O.V.I.D. – 19  After three rounds were completed, YHC apparently lost the ability to determine time properly by suggesting for the last round we run a reverse loop and stop at each lightpost and perform the exercises in order (C at the first;  O at the second, etc.).   Danica was very kind and suggested YHC direct the PAX to do a lap and then we can return to the flag for a 6.15 stop as opposed to the 6.22 stop that YHC as the Q was calling for.  Good to have someone like Danica on your side for many reasons!

The exercises provided all a PAX needs to combat the Covid attack included plenty of social distancing.  Dory, in all his wisdom, used the time to do some DL training in the field, running some diamonds and pushing himself even after a long weekend at Man Camp.  Well done, Dory!

COT:

All joking aside regarding Covid-19, Pelosi emphasized the need for smart awareness and planning.   We all need to be strong and available to our loved ones, our neighbors and those in need, and we appreciated the opportunities to strengthen ourselves for the task.   Doubtfire brought up the likelihood of many HS Seniors not getting to walk the stage for a graduation, and that is a shame after their years of hard work and dedication.

Many lives can and will be affected by this, so let’s all pay attention to offer support and care when and where needed.   YHC personally appreciates the constant efforts of our public servants such as Danica who are dedicated to protecting and watching over us even in these perilous health-challenging times.  Thanks to all who serve!

Here’s what YHC learned today:

7 men showed up without fear to be together in the gloom.   That is awesome!

Dory demonstrated the qualities of a HIM by showing up post- Man Camp tire and pushed himself.  Great leadership by example!

Doubtfire always brings it.  The man is an icon and just keeps pushing.   RESPECT!

Danica is not fond of his new hairstyle.  YHC would suggest not messing around with it.  But, the man can keep a timeframe front and center!

Harp is definitely part lion and part bulldozer.  Just strong and imposing.  Stay on his good side.

Woody is a flash.  That is all you can say about him.  He really should be renamed ‘Blur’.

Pelosi, for all his innate comic skills, brought some needed perspectives to the group.  YHC thanks him for the insights (as well as the noises he was making during the V-up Ups.  Not sure he liked those).
