7 brave PAX showed up to play with my rubbers. It was warm, it was wet, and it was amazing.
Warm-o-Rama:
Moseyed to the football field where YHC staged the resistance bands and the speaker for this morning’s activities.
Circled up for:

Partnered up and passed out the resistance bands. Time to get weird!
The Thang:
Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese
Typical quarter pounder, the PAX will be performing 4 exercises at 25 yard intervals. The twist, all exercises are performed with a partner. Also, when moving between the intervals the PAX would run with the resistance band around their waist and their partner providing resistance. Partner 1 going one way and Partner 2 going back. The exercises were:
Partner 1 Resistance Run to 25yd
25x LBC’s with band (each PAX)(standard exercise, except the resistance band is held with the hands while the partner provides resistance)
Partner 2 Resistance Run back to Goal Line
Partner 1 Resistance Run to 50yd
50x Tricep Curls (each PAX) (resistance band is over 1 PAX shoulders and the other PAX is behind them providing resistance in the Squat position. From the standing position extend your arms over your head and back down)
Partner 2 Resistance Run back to Goal Line
Partner 1 Resistance Run to 75yd
75x Reverse LBC’s with band (each PAX)(standard exercise, except the resistance band is held around the feet while the partner provided resistance)
Partner 2 Resistance Run back to Goal Line
Partner 1 Resistance Run to 100yd
100x Chest Press (each PAX)(standing upright, one PAX would perform a chest press with the resistance band while the other PAX stood behind them and provided resistance)
Partner 2 Resistance Run back to Goal Line
Partner Dora 1, 2, 3
Standard Dora where 1 PAX performs the exercise while the other PAX runs to opposite Goal Line and back. The Dora exercises were to be performed with the bands and were:
100x Merkins (band over shoulders and under hands)
200x Squats (band under both feet and over back of shoulders)
300x Tricep Curls (band looped around foot and over back of shoulders)
Wrapped up with just enough time to mosey back to the flag and ‘wrap’ up the morning with Ring of Fire Mary!

So much to unpack in this one! I’ll do my best.
Prayers: Exile (flu), Exile’s Dad (health issues), Sharapova’s M, New Babies! (3 by this morning’s count)

The rain held off for all of 1o minutes and when the bottom dropped it was glorious. Nothing like playing with rubbers in the middle of a lightning storm while listening to your favorite 80’s/90’s Hip Hop music. I did this beatdown before and it was an utter disaster as I tried to modify it for 0.0 use. It was hilarious and went down in history for a different reason, but this morning’s beatdown was what it always should have been.
To cap off the morning we ended things with a sweet beatdown photo and awesome coffeteria complete with our favorite Wayan’s Brothers movies. For reference here is the link to Senseless:

One final note, despite the heavy rain and wind the flag remained standing!! This was a victory in and of itself. Absolutely excellent morning and I can’t wait for my next visit. Until next time.
