It was very cold so we did very little standing around. A quick mosey lap around the lot was followed by your most basic warm-o-rama. At one point, Tiny Tat dared to call out YHC for leading “Empirial Walkers” while actually performing “Hillbilly Walkers.” That was when it became obvious that TT had an axe to grind today.
The thang consisted of laps around the lot with various exercised performed at the tops of the 3 sets of steps along the way. YHC mostly ran with Fawlty Towers and Lizard King. When TT lapped us once, nobody thought much about it. When he lapped us a second time, hackles begin to rise. As I said to LK, “I’ll be damned if he’s gonna do it again. I’ll just call it and we can do Mary until time.” TT didn’t quite catch us again but he clearly sped up in an effort to humiliate. That won’t soon be forgotten.
Nesquik seemed preoccupied with breasts and the book of Proverbs this morning. He made it awkward for everybody. LK, when not hatching plans to jump out of the bushes and detain TT, waxed eloquent about MLB and its complexities. His wisdom, when cast before the swine that is Bosox, garnered the response, “You should just win your games.” Not helpful.
Grimace and Nomad seemed to take some pleasure in catching/lapping folks, but in a much humbler way (note to TT).
COT: 6th man Charleston Chew shared about his family and love of travel. Prayers for Fawlty’s new job, Uncle Dick’s family and CC’s family planning and having another kid.
It was an honor to lead such a fine group of PAX.
