Ok, so extravaganza may be overstating it, but we did have a solid group show up just to celebrate Bigglesworth’s birthday.

Warmup

Not sure how many guys showed up for the prerun as YHC was not one of them, but it was a big group that put in some solid miles before the real fun began.

The Route

For Bigglesworth’s birthday and filling in for a quarantined brother that had the Q, I had to come up with a GRAND plan for the Q. Grand Oaks it is! Down Gaddis hill to the bottom to start the ascent up the backside of Gaddis up to the stop sign hanging a left into Grand Oaks. Proceed to hit all the cul-de-sacs and hills before coming out and returning to the tennis courts. Those with extra time kept on going past the tennis courts into the “other” side of Woodmont as far as they could go before turning around to make it back in time for the COT.

Prayers for Brady Bunch’s family member dealing with cancer and also those dealing with COVID itself and the impacts of unintentional exposure to COVID. May they all navigate it with minimal symptoms and complications.

Fun times were had by all! Especially, when (like an idiot) YHC thought it would be a great idea to bring crappy Kroger cupcakes to the guy that works at Alpine Bakery and has access to the delicious desserts that they offer. At least the Bailey’s was a hit…except now may be expected every week. Heard some more PRs were hit this week, which is becoming a regular occurrence. Love seeing this, especially given the topography of the Wood. If PRs are happening here then on flatter terrain these guys are going to do some real damage. Keep accelerating men!
