You don’t miss Despair until its gone.

Pax commenced at 5:30am sharp.  After a quick mosey and a warm up with some incredibly slow and painful Weed Pickers, we moved to Heartbreak Hill.  The Silent Squad did a set of Elevens with Burpees at the bottom of the hill and Monkey Humpers at the top of the hill.  Midway through this set, some of us were missing Despair, the torture tire featured in last week’s beatdown.  Following the completion of Elevens, we did Big Boys, Hand Release Merkins, Squats, and Shoulder Taps in sets of 25.  After each set, the team ran 50 yards across a field and did a Bernie Sanders run back.  All of this was fine and good, but unfortunately, Blowpop had insisted on including Bear Crawls to the Q the night prior to the beatdown.  In order to keep everyone happy, we substituted Bear Crawls for the Bernie Sanders in the 2nd set of 25s.

This was my VQ.  You always remember your first time.  I would like to thank the Radio Silence squad for their patience this morning.  We ended with a long Mary, but as Paper Jam mentioned, everyone in the Pax got to lead a little this morning.
