The Thang:

Van Michaels trail first. Yes, with the 420 climb, NO to Kevorkian Pass. (In the dark???? YHC likes to come back from runs with all his limbs attached, in tact, and most of the blood on the INSIDE) Great climbing! Second was Dwelling. After these two and a little meandering that gets in a nice round 10 miles. 🙂

COT:

No COT, so uh, kinda breaking the rule here…

Naked Man Moleskin:

YHC doesn’t feel all that bad about skipping a COT because we made up for it with a lot of quality conversation on the run. Great way to make the most of our time, and also helps keep HR moderated well for a sustained long run.

We decided it was not raining, it wasn’t quite snowing, but there was some kind of visible condensation subject to gravitational forces visible around us… YHC is no meteorologist. But did this did make for nice trail conditions with just a little mud, and no dry washouts. Varry nice!!!!!

Also, Duke joined us and ran like a bat out of hell ahead of us and back again the whole time. It’s been decided we gotta put a garmin on him one of these days to see just how much extra distance he is covering!
