Box Office Hits
Looking for something new (but safe(r)) than the hitting the nearby trails, YHC hijacked a few satellites and zoomed in on DTW to plot a course. Let’s head to the movies! Cherokee 16 was the target (2 miles from AO) and the course was set: Leave AO, head wrong way down Mill St (Pinehill Dr) taking a detour behind Smile Doctors building to avoid running on a road, in the dark, with limited jump off points (Towne Lake Parkway). Reconnect with Towne Lake Parkway by the building that reminds you when your birthday is: county tag office.
From here it was a full on sprint (or brisk jog) to Buckhead Crossing where we hung a right and finally met the “hill of doom” and climbed to the theater. (Or in the case of YHC and his gaggle, reached the bottom of said hill, checked the time and decided to tuck tail and head home.)
COT
We all circled up (runners, ruckers, solo walker and kettle bell abusers) for COT. Prayers for all going through losses, COVID related or not and prayers and support for Gut Check and his gang as they head to touch lives recently impacted by hurricanes.
YHC was impressed with the turn out and remembers a time it was 2 or 3 PAX in attendance. Amazing to see the growth, new faces and continued relationship building among leaders.
