18 PAX gathered in the gloom this morning at Sequoyah Park to celebrate Lively’s birthday. Happy Birthday Lively!

To celebrate graduating from the Police Academy, Porkchop got to pick the teams, but to celebrate Aquaman’s return after a long absence Aquaman got to pick which team he was on. This is a great new way to pick teams. Thanks for the idea Dowry!

Teams were very even this morning. Team shirts ended up winning both games, breaking the tie at the buzzer both times.

Highlights:

• Jorts was playing lights out today and had some big defensive stops.
• Sallyride made a questionable foul call. But it was against Westside so it was probably accurate.
• Show Pony got cleated in the nuts.
• Brimstone got his first Callahan off of a Show Pony deflection of a Scamper throw. There was some questioning of the rules after the play, but the calling stood. Porkchop tried to overturn it in Slack after the game, but was quickly proven wrong. Hopefully his interpretation and application of the law is better than his interpretation of the Ultimate rule book!
• There were more than the normal amount of Hammers thrown today!
• Show Pony took home a well deserved MVP. He was on fire on both sides of the disc!
