INTRO:

Solid start to the week here.  YHC arrived early for the VQ and to set out the Coupons.   Everyone filed in for the 0530 startex.  It was HUMID.

WARM-O-RAMA:

Mosey around the parking lot and circled-up and did the following:

SSHs – 15 IC

Imperial Walkers – 10 IC

THE THANG:

We split into 3 Groups to split up among the three stations.   Three Stations with 3 exercises on the board at each station.  Moved through with 1 exercise at each station and then rinse and repeat.  Done in this order:

STATION 1

1. Box Cutter – 25
2. War Hammer 1:4 – to 8 Count for BBSU  (1 BBSU : 4 American Hammer / 2 BBSU : 8 American Hammer … 8 BBSU : 32 American Hammer)
3. Cockroach Resurrection

Station 2

1. Merkin – 25
2. Carolina Dry Dock – 25
3. Catalina Wine Mixer – 20

Station 3 – w/ Cindy Coupon

1. Piston – 20
2. Lion King – 20
3. Colt 45s – 15

All PAX made it through 1 full round of 9 and into some stage of round 2.  Woody was the gazelle.   The split session kept the mumblechatter to a minimum that YHC heard, but there was some grumbles surrounding the War Hammer.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

We asked for prayers for our families as well as the folks that have been affected by Covid-19 in different ways other than contracting the virus as the ripples reach the shore for many folks.   We asked for guidance this coming week and a reminder to reach out to PAX and others we may have not spoken to in a while.   The effects will be long-standing as we navigate the weeks and months ahead.

NAKED-MOLE SKIN:

What began with all the promise of a Thursday Night Catalina Wine Mixer ended with us standing in a circle waiting for someone to buy the first round… Thanks Miyagi for the Coffeteria! Had a great time this morning for my VQ.   I tried to pull some lesser known moves out of the Exicon to mix it up.   Everyone killed it and I was reminded of why I post, for the man next to me.   Glad to have everyone out and just remember, you still have 5 more chances this week to get a better workout!  Banjo great to meet you.  Woody you’re a Stud.  Thanks to my Shield Lock members Pelosi, Dory, Doubtfire, and Miyagi for keeping me in reasonable shape to be able to respectfully complete my VQ!  If you men had not been there….
