On this day, in 1930, Pluto was officially declared a planet and became the 9th planet in our solar system. In 2006, the definition of a planet was properly defined which excluded Pluto from being classified as a planet and is now a dwarf planet.

The Thang:

Partnered up for 9’s. At the bottom of the hill, PAX 1 and 2 do leg throws (PAX 1 lays on his back and grabs onto PAX 2’s ankles (hey-oh!), PAX 1 lifts legs up to PAX 2’s chest and PAX 2 throws them towards the ground), swap positions, and then run up the hill to do clerkins (merkin follow by a hand clap from each hand).

Mosey’d over to the ES parking lot for partner PLUTO (think BOMBS). PAX 1 performs exercises while PAX 2 runs inner loop of parking lot.

x150 U-Hauls (PAX lays on their back in the flutter kick position and then draws the letter U with their legs)

x200 Travoltas (In plank position, take 1 hand and point outward as far as possible, then bring the same hand under body as far as possible. Think “Stayin Alive”)
