So Narco said that since Doddy and I bought World Series tickets we jinx the Braves and upset the baseball gods and the only way to get right was to do 17 minutes of burpees since the Dodgers had 17 hits Thursday night. Slacker Narco and hunter Doddy didn’t show up so YHC had his own version of burpees to get right with Narco’s baseball gods. YHC is not superstitious but I’ll play along.

Now time to pick your cinder block behind the utility shed. As we headed across the field with our coupons in tow we see two pax coming from the restroom building. I guess Trill had to help Bagger fix his hair so they were 6 minutes late. Trill and Bagger grabbed their coupon and met up with us and Trill said he saw Drumstick heading to the shed. Cricket took off to find Drumstick but couldn’t so he returned and asked Trill if he was still buzzed from the night before and seeing things. Eventually, Drumstick found us and started complaining before YHC even started to explain the BD. It’s now 7:12 and we haven’t done any real work. I was beginning to wonder if we were just going to wait for more pax to show up.

To get in the burpees that Narco believes will get us right with the baseball gods we started out with B.O.M.B.S. 50 – Burpees, 100 – Overhead Presses with the coupon, 150 – Merkins, 200 – BBS w/coupon, 250 – Squats w/coupon. Partner 1 starts with Burpees while partner 2 runs up the long hill and back. Rinse and Repeat until work is completed. More complaining from Drumstick.

Next, we mosey over to the playground for 11’s. Donkey Kicks and Toe Touches. 1 – Donkey Kick then run the playground course then 10 Toe Touches then run the playground course. Of course, there was more complaining from Drumstick about how YHC didn’t explain the 11’s to his liking.

YHC knowing we would not have enough time to finish the 11’s we then took the last 6 minutes to do burpees hoping to appease Narco’s baseball gods.

We then moseyed to the flag for COT.

It’s always a pleasure to bring pain to the ones I like the most. Just disappointed that Narco and Doddy couldn’t be there to experience the BD. I know how much Doddy loves Burpees and Trill gained a BD on them.

Good work, men, and thanks for showing up. It was good to see Cricket at the box even though Drumstick and Grylls thought he was on a mission to see if he needed to shut down the box. At least that was one conspiracy theory. Drumstick likened Cricket’s presence as the “principal” and YHC as the “teacher” and that YHC was doing everything right because Cricket was present.
