For the appetizer course for this morning we started at a curb and did some 11s: monkey humpers + gas pump, doing a backward duck walk in between. YHC very quickly called an audible to modify to lunge walks as needed. And to be fair, these were probably more like “backward-moving air chairs” than true duck walks. They were terrible, but I digress.
After 15 minutes of that nonsense we changed gears for the main course. Count off by 4, head over to a light pole (1s picked up a cinder block on the way). The light pole served as the center of an imaginary wheel, with a station at north, south, east, and west locations out from the center. The PAX were to travel from the center of the wheel to the perimeter in a particular specified fashion, complete the exercise designated at the perimeter station, and then return. Then move clockwise and continue.

North: rifle carry, BBS x10 at the perimeter station
West: duck walk, burpees x10 at the perimeter station
South: lunge walk, plank jacks x10 at the perimeter station
East: bear crawl, star jumps x10 at the perimeter station

Let the record show that some among the pax (Silverado, and Homer I believe) could not help but be nonconformists and consequently progressed counter-clockwise, cutting against the grain as it were. Rebels.
