We kicked off the first Hurt Locker of 2022 will a field trip. Nine PAX showed up on a very cold and windy morning with snow flurries floating around. The mercury said it was 33 degrees but with wind gusts up to 25mph it felt much colder then that. Our head lamps made the snow look like we were running at hyper speed.

As soon as the Garmin clicked 0530 we moseyed towards front of Veteran’s Park. A quick stop at the roundabout for me to discuss the plan and then we were off.

The thang:

Pick a battle buddy, stay with them the entire time, and run the 1.5 miles over to the Safari AO. First to arrive starts 50 merkins, 50 SSHs, and 50 squats on repeat. PAX fall in and repeat the three exercise circuit. After approx. 15 minutes of exercise we ran back the 1.5 miles to Veteran’s Park picking up the 6 on the way.

All PAX logged in the neighborhood of 3.5 miles. Good work all.

We prayed for PAX and families that lost loved ones over the holiday season.

During coffeeteria I made the comment, “Duggar didn’t die” to which SallyRide quickly said, “well there’s your backblast name.”
