Warm up-

ITS SANDBAG DAY!!!!!  Apparently- the Apex light the Arena has a knack of either injuring its pax or attracting the broken.  We had two groups- the modified and the Pax.  Sooorie lead 6 of the PAX to enjoy the last sandbag day of the year on the field.

The Thang

We did a modified “Meyers run” which is interval training.  The Pax would run 2 laps at a strong tempo pace then recover with 50 sandbag chest presses.  After the rest, the entire group would repeat with another 2 laps, the press, then 1 lap, then press, then another lap, then press, and finally with two 200 meter sprints.

Finally we completed 4 rounds of:

5 CLeans

5 shoulder press

5 over the sandbag merkins
Then- front rack carry 25 yards, then rifle carry back to start as a team.

Afterward we walked back to the COT and met up with COT #2.  Since Sooorie was  unprepared, we did six man, then the count.  Followed by announcements of the convergence this Saturday at 7:00 AM at Ettowha river park.  Sign up to bring food and cloths.  Polar plunge to follow.  Big Papi gave us his solem word and HC to the event.  All cheered.
