We ran…

Thank you.  I have been struggling a bit at home, struggling a bit at work, and struggling a bit with F3.  The first two I will leave alone, but F3 I will address.  I put it on a pedestal, I made it more than it is…and it let me down.  F3 is not about starting a bunch of new A/O’s, splitting regions, who’s leading what, what site Q is doing what…It’s about men.  F3 is what you, the individual makes it.  There is no upper management dictating what the minions should do, where to post, what to start, how to lead.  It’s about men getting together to support one another.  Work hard, share life, laugh a lot, cry when necessary.

Beach Front AZ will NEVER be an A/O…its an idea.  It’s what a couple men decided to do to support a struggling PAX.  It’s not closed, its open to ALL men.  BFAZ may meet for weeks or months or years.  It may move to my house when I am injured or unable to post.  It’s dynamic leadership.  It’s doing what needs to be done.  Not asking permission…Not asking forgiveness.

With the amount of FNG’s coming through, the numbers for daily workouts should grow…. They don’t, so how many PAX do we lose for every FNG that comes through the ranks?  We all need to DO BETTER.  Like my earlier BB, I am not standing in the street throwing rocks at your glass house, because I have judged myself and I am guilty.

Where do we go from here, I don’t know.  I personally had to step down from all leadership in F3 to clear my head.  I got salty towards F3 and really stopped hitting as many BD’s.  A few months ago, I committed to a weeks worth of Q’s for my birthday week.  I thought, “shit foos, why the hell did you do this?”.  Just delete your name off the sheet.  The first note from Baby Ruth about Q’ing the Cheetah, I thought…”Foos, leaders don’t back down from commitment”.  I am glad I didn’t.  I have had the best week ever since joining F3.  Met a bunch of new PAX, laughed a lot, almost cried this morning, and wrote some epic BB.  It has reinvigorated me…and I thank you…all the men that carried me through a difficult and tiring week.

I have 0 plans of jumping back into leadership, because we have some awesome men doing a fine job (minus Bonilla).  We do need to talk about how we can better support the fallen PAX, address the heavy attrition of guys just not coming back.  We have done a great job, but there is much growth that still needs to be done.

I love all you guys alot.  Without you, PR’ing and hitting a sub 2 hour half marathon would not be possible.  I was running but Geek and Picanha and Exile carried me for the last painful mile.

Thank you men…thank you F3…

F*&k you Mole….Bonilla is still an ass…
