WoodstockRucks went mobile, with a 3 week advanced approval and some last minute complaints.

No warm-o-rama. WAKE-o-rama – three guys too freakin early, yuckin it up outside like they’d been up for a while, calling YHC and waking him up before his alarm and AGREED UPON arrival time!

The Thang:  Straight Jacket of F3 NOGA fame HIMed up for the Goggins 4x4x48 Challenge, put out the call, the spreadsheet and raised > $1500 for a Great Dane rescue mission.  Four rucking F3C PAX stepped up to support SJ in his 5AM 4-mile time slot.  But SJ lives near Rome so they met at YHC home in “Whites” and got after it.

YHC *could not pass up* rucking on GA Wildlife Management Area land to the Old Macedonia Cemetery established in the 1800s on the shores of Lake Allatoona.  So he marked the appropriate spot the night before and the crew took the Chops shuttle bus to startex.  There is wildlife, so the PAX came prepared…  then got it done.

NMM:  Good times. Good memories. Straight Jacket’s body was on autopilot waking up early. Fortunately, he claims he got some sleep. Chops didn’t lose his truck to the loggers and their equipment. Note to self:  The PAX get concerned when they’re in an unfamiliar area, in the woods, in a cemetery and there’s a freshly dug gravesite. Why two trucks were heading into the woods on a dead end road (pun intended) at 0630, we’ll never know. PAX like omelettes, dense Keto pancakes, coffee AND beer after a good ruck.  A great 3hrs of 2ndF. 20,000 steps so far and its only 7am. And after breakfast, Chops whipped out his long gun and the PAX all agreed that it aims up and to the left.
