0440 – Pre-preruck recon. The cones are still in the Reformation parking lot at 30 M intervals. The dip wall is blocked by stacked chairs, but some nearby benches will do. 0.29 mi.

0505 – Pre-ruck with short circuit. Heart to heart. 1.18 mi.

0530 – Ruck bootcamp.  Lower core PT was the main focus, rather than accumulating mileage.  1.80 mi.

Summary: We rucked from the shovel flag at Canton’s old courthouse down to the Reformation Brewery parking lot to utilize the flat space and coned off 30 meter intervals in the parking lot.  4 cones meant 4 rounds of core-focused PT.  Then we rucked through the Canton Mills driveway, south along the railroad tracks, and made another PT stop for 2 more core rounds.  Totals were 10 ruck-on squats (on the forks of a forklift), 40 Ruck V-Ups, 70 Ruck Squat Thrusters, and 100 BBS w/ruck on feet.  Crossed Railroad Street to go up the ridiculously steep Academy Street hill.  Backwards.  Raccoon crawl the PERFECT wall in front of the Board of Ed building, then back to the flag for COT in the Canton Square gazebo.  Each man shared prayer concerns ruck-on, and then we dressed our rucks and took a knee as we laid our burdens properly on the Lord’s very capable shoulders.

Chopsy has not let the challenge of a difficult season get the best of him.  Beating the fartsack and getting stronger in body and soul week after week.  Keep plugging away, brother.  You are blessed to have one of the coolest AO’s in Cherokee County.  Keep it rocking.

Hasbro finally shook off the dust of two weeks of struggling to post.  Your brothers need your encouragement of your presence in the gloom that doesn’t always come across as well via Slack. 🙂  Loved rucking with you this morning, brother.

short circuit has become the unofficial assistant site Q and front man for Rattlesnake Riviera, inviting PAX, making graphics, bringing coffee, and making a strong showing every week.  I was blessed by our preruck conversation and look forward to continuing it soon.

Thank you for posting with me this morning, brothers.  You are part of the Lord’s work in my life to make me the man He calls me to be.  Let’s keep getting stronger together in fitness, fellowship, and faith.
