3/3/22  The Buff – Hills Bells

Q:  Paper Jam

PAX:  Slum Lord, Woody, Tallyman, Z93

The Thang:

Started out with Warm-o-rama consisting of Weed Pickers, SSHs, Tumbleweeds, and Michael Phelps.  Then we grabbed our bells and mosied to the bottom of the paved hill.  Started out with some ‘Merk Back Mountains’.  Think of ‘Burp Back Mountains’ crossed with ‘Merkin pull-throughs’. 🙂  So we partnered up and while one partner went backwards up the hill and forwards back down (with their bell), the other worked on Merkin pull-throughs.  Each team collectively did 100 Merkin pull-throughs.

Then we took a lap around the parking lot and returned to the bottom of the hill.  This is when the fun began.  We grabbed the heaviest bell (35lb) and formed a Bucket Line heading up the hill.  Each PAX would pass the bell to the next, and then run to get to the front of the line. We went up and down the hill once handing to the right, and once handing to the left.   After a few collisions and mis-steps we finally got into a rhythm!  The consensus was that we should start a new Olympic event. 🙂

Then we did lunges up the hill and rifle carries back down.

After that we ran backwards up the hill to the flag, and then forwards back to the bottom of the hill.

Next were 25 skull crushers and 25 curls with the bells.   And since today was part of the Merkin challenge against Columbus County, we added 25 more Merkins each.

A quick run took us back to the flag to finish with some flutter kicks, overhead presses and Elf on a Shelfs.

COT:  prayed for all men to lead through God’s will and for good results for Paper Jam’s upcoming biopsy.  Paper Jam also needs God’s wisdom and guidance on how to deal with a health issue.
