YHC signed up to Q a few weeks ago in an effort to Q a little more, unbeknownst to me the day was a school holiday because for some reason YHC does to get Columbus day off even though it is a State Holiday and I took a government job for the Holidays but could not teach for the extra holiday’s so what a wonderful surprise when LC and his Southside crew HC’d for the witch. I mean for real, that dude is one of the best cult within a cult leaders F3Cherokee has. No better way to Q for our southwest brothers from the same mothaship, than to think like Hombre and go off trail. You got to love the smell of Bushwacking in the gloom. Let’s mosey, don’t worry Kiffin YHC’s watch shows 5:30, even if its wrong its right. We ran up the white trail to the orange trail just for the tip and took a sharp right into the woods. Next to the fallin tree and the 1st of many holes in the ground, this looks like a great spot to stop for warm-o-rama. What right here in the middle of the woods away from the trails, sure why not. SSHs, WPs, and no we are off. Whooo, watch out for the short drop off back to white trail, turn the other way down the hill. So easy to turn the wrong way in the middle of the woods in the middle of the dark. It was about this time, YHC had to bite his tongue and hope no one besides the Mole saw the ankle turn over that could have been bad, no tears in front of this crew, they would never let me live that down. Found the red trail while still keeping my brave face on. Ran it down to the blue where it crosses the creek, line up for the 6. Holy crap there is a lot of guys here this morning, change of plans, run through the creek back up to where it crosses the yellow trail, jump that giant log, watch out for that tree branch, look out for that deep pool but man that cold water feels good on an ankle. From yellow back around to where we just were for an Hombre loop x 3 with 5 burpees, 10 kodiak count lunges, no Exile Kodiak count is 1, 1 – 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4, I should no I was invented it or rather I was the inspiration for the invention slash dig at the Rubicon anyway back to 15 american hammers, 20 squats take a lap. Thanks Wafflecone for being there just in case I fell down the hill because man that mud was slick. After the six came in on Lap 3, we cut across through the creek up blue take a left at the second green, blue fork stop for the six. Hey LawDog did you miss big blue, you know what not really because lets just bushwack it up big blue AR style. At the top of big blue, plank for the 6 then bushwack AR style back down towards the right stopping half way for around the clock merkins 20 reps at the 6 come on Garfield everyone knows the six is downhill, 9:00, 12:00, and 3:00. This prooved to be a fan favorite as several pax were modifying. On to bushwacking, found the green trail cut up to the White trail through the trees. All you got back to the pink, well, this pink will work for some more burpees, lunges, American Hammers and down around the lolly pop, back to the flag for the six. Quag would have loved it out there today but I guess we will never know. Drumstick said that was decent Q LawDog. Hey that was probably the nicest thing Drumstick has ever said to me. Cricket said, so was any of that planned. You know, you really get to know a man after you post in the gloom for a few years. Until Next Time, Peace, Godspeed, and hopefully no one stepped in Garf’s Elvis. Even Duke was smart enough to run the other way when Garf grabbed a handful of leaves.
