The Thang:

The “black ice” may have kept some away, but YHC, LC, and Gekko weren’t scared.  Conditions were perfect for an early morning run.

Eagle Drive Waffle House to YHC’s humble abode and back.  YHC had the home field advantage on this BD as he has run this route numerous times before and knows where to push the pace.  We were challenged with many hills and the highlight being the hill on Wyngate Pkwy that never ends.  YHC didn’t realize it, but a little before the half way point, he discovered that he had the kids with him, so YHC made a pit stop at the house to drop them off.  Lucky Charms and Gekko graciously waited, and we continued the whole thing in reverse.

COT:

YHC forgot to do an official COT, but all three of us sat down for breakfast and spoke about the challenges of fatherhood, marriage, and youth sports.

Naked Man Moleskin:

This was the first time that YHC had the opportunity to sit down after a BD and talk with fellow PAX.  It was great getting to know LC and Gekko.  We all go through similar life challenges, and it is good to know that you are not alone.

LC- dude is committed to the new diet.  Black coffee only for him.

Gekko- that man loves hills and sliced tomatoes.  One of these is a truth and one is a lie.
