The Thang

On my wow home from the office yesterday I was inspired by the stop, go, stop, go mode of movement that everyone experiences on I-285.

Chase the rabbit:

after establishing four points in which the “rabbit” would stop to “rest” we started. The group had to complete 15 to give the rabbit time to start our next count and could not go get the rabbit until the 6 was in(at all stop points).

monkey humpers.  by the end of it, over 120 (hopper)

bonnie blairs. around 85 (Chitwood)

OH WAIT THERES A CRASH ON 285 (surprise)

30 merkins

traffic is moving again

plank jacks. close to 150 (spat)

jump squats. over 100 (visor)

flutter kicks. over 160 (rest stop)

Then to finish off the time we did merkins in the bus lanes, count being the bus lane number(lane 1 one merkin, lane 2 two merkins, etc), when traveling from one lane to the next you would use walking lunges (only 3-4 to get to the next lane). Spat and Quagmire were racing each other to see who could get the highest, Quagmire wins at lane 12 spat finished at 11, rest of us made it to lane 10.

Finished out with a short mosey to pick up YHC’s speaker then back to the flag for 4 slow peter parkers to have a finishing stretch.

Did a great thing by request of the AWESOME HIMs that post at Safari, around the horn of a good thing going on in your life! With the way the world is right now being able to identify a blessing no matter how small is truly spirit lifting.

Lifting up: Chitwood’s BP currently reading high, Panhandle’s sister, Health for Pax and their families(COVID, RSV, Hand-foot-mouth, etc)
