Summer heat welcomed us in the gloom, around 77° at start but felt like high 80’s. Picanha and Lexi needed more suck so they started at 4 to get a 5 mile pre-run in. This was YHC’s first Pineapple Q and the trails look a lot different at the front. Missed a turn on Van Michael, ended up on Mosquito Bite then started on the other end of VM. We may have collectively sweat out 10lbs. To much of our surprise,  only got 4.7 miles.
