The presence of our friend Jackalope always seems to bring out the best in our other friend Nesquick. Today was no different. YHC appreciated Jack’s Milli Vanilli intro music. Apparently, it was too much bullcorn for Nesquick. The ensuing banter was mostly light-hearted, with an occasional burst of muted rage. I think we all enjoyed it.

Warm-O-Rama

We moseyed up to the middle school for some side straddle hops, empirial walkers, weed pickers and sun gods.

THANG

At the bottom of the hill to the right of the building, it was always

10 BB’s

20 muricans

30 freddie mercuries (2 ct)

40 mtn climbers (single count)

Bernie Sanders up the hill. At the top, descending burpees, starting at 10, reduced by one each time. Then, downstairs and back around to the beginning and repeat.

After 5-7 rounds for each PAX, we gathered together for timed sprints 1.5 times around the circle in front of the middle school. Then, a final mosey back to the flag for about 1 minute of Merry. Silverado, that sly fox, managed to slip in some stretching during the final 15 seconds of the BD.

6 man GoDaddy clued us in on his shoe size (10) and the suspect racial category known as “whiteipino.” Prayers for his summer schedule and plans, as well as for continued healing and strength for Lizard King’s M.

Morning Highlights: YHC’s playlist, as always, was thoroughly on point. It even got an “ok” from Jackalope. Also, Lizard King reminisced about a time 40+ years ago when he was 12 and Tiny Tat was 1. Back then, LC could whip TT’s ass in a sprint.

Other highlights included Butterfly’s faithful companion Syd’s constant vigilance in keeping us safe, GoDaddy’s perseverance in the face of a poorly set clock, Mouth-to-mouth’s potent coffee and Honey Pot wondering aloud when he might be able to put his infant son to work keeping the bees.

I was thoroughly gassed today and it was good to have such solid men to push and encourage me.
