With the mumblechatter consisting of mostly people saying they WEREN’T coming today, YHC during a pre-shuffle wondered if anyone was going to show, but of course, HIMest of HIMs Lively pulls in, and of course, green lantern shirt ablaze.
The Thang
Mosey over to the bus parking lot for warm-o-Rama of weed pickers, good mornings, dancing bears, and sun gods.
Then, keeping together, we did 25 merkins, 25 dips, 25 donkey kicks, and 25 Big Bois in different locations throughout the AO. We started near the loading dock, moseyed to the outdoor classroom (new location with picnic benches, this is brand new to the school so note for future Qs, lets please not destroy them), back wall for kicks, then to the end of the front parking lot for the Big Bois. Rinse and repeat, switching out some exercise locations, and changing Big Bois to squats.
Then, mosey back to the main parking lot where we loosely lined up closest to the basketball courts. Then we did a little humble run. This is an exercise YHC came up with in the early days of the Dumpster Fire as we all guest Qd to get it on its feet. 10 merkins, run to the island, and bear crawl around it. 11 merkins, run back to the first island and bear crawl around. We increased up to 14 merkins with runs/bears between. Then switched to 15 American Hammers with crab walks around the island. We increased this up to 20. Then back to the flag for a FULL MARY (according to its definition in the exercise, and why its called Mary in the first place. Look it up.)
Lively and YHC took curbs calling exercises, went with heel touches, iron cross, flutter kicks, crunchy frogs, and Freddie Mercury.
Prayers were lifted up to Site Qs 2.0 who turns two next week, and YHCs 2.2 who turns 10 next week. Good workout and great start to the day. Wham-O Wednesdays end next Wednesday, hopefully it will end with a bang. It has been great for YHC to Q for the past two months. Was struggling to get out into the gloom with consistency, so put this challenge in front to get out there and post. It has pulled me out of a funk, and we get to celebrate that next week.
