YHC sent out a “come at your own risk” message on Slack…

Pre-ruck, PAX scurried to the Gazebo to avoid the crashing lightning…wasn’t the safest place between the steel benches and under the metal roof.  Once the lightning and thunder were separated by more than 1 Mississippi, we moseyed up the north side of the square (oval).  After making our way back past the Gazebo, lightning and thunder returned on top of us, we decided to head back to shelter.  The only strategy for rucking today was to keep circling back to the Gazebo and within close proximity to our cars for quick safety/shelter.  PAX minus Recharge enjoyed one cup of coffee and then moseyed back out into the rain to continue our ruck.  We made many right-hand turns and then found our way back to wrap up at the Gazebo.  Mumble chatter was great as always.

Although seemingly pointless, we followed protocol by counting to 4 and name-o-rama.

Announcements: Canoe has his VQ at The Woodshed this Saturday, 7:00 A.M. at Hobgood Park (the Bells Ferry entrance).

Prayer Requests: Gas prices, Izzy and Pie Bar’s family, the situation abroad, and a fellow-PAX’s ongoing prayer request for his daughter.

Short Circuit was kind enough to speak the prayer for PAX while in a “ball of men”.

Coffeeteria was great as always.  Although many were missed, we made the best out of the situation at hand.
