Murder Hornet Ladder

One year ago this week, YHC posted for the first time and thought death was imminent at multiple points during that first BD.  When told to do 5 burpees, I “modified” and did 3 because a splash of merlot was coming after either burpee 4 or 5.

So we celebrated the fact that I survived that first BD with a lot of burpees, manmakers, and murder bunnies today – one year later!

Warm-a-Rama:

• SSHs
• Sungods + Michael Phelps

Grab some coupons and walk down to the cones laid out.

The Thang:

YHC setup a 40 yard track with cones every 10 yards.  PAX lined up at the starting line with coupons and executed this ladder:

• 10 yards of Murder Hornets (murder bunnies, 10 man-makers, 10 coupon lunges, 10 coupon Big Boys)
• Sprint to far end of parking lot and do 10 Burpees; then grab your coupon and mosey back to the starting line
• 20 yards of Murder Hornets
• Sprint to far end of parking lot and do 10 Burpees; then grab your coupon and mosey back to the starting line
• Rinse and repeat, building up to 40 yards of Murder Hornets and then working back down the ladder

Lots of mumble chatter about whether repeated sets of 10 man-makers were making us more manly or just revealing us to be less manly…

Stashed the coupons and headed back to the flag for 6 minutes of Mary

• We prayed for a lot of suffering and anxiousness that many of our PAX and our families are facing right now
