Warmorama…
YHC wanted to break in a new parking lot over by the football field so off I went. YHC didn’t pay attention and left Tru-Doh way back. I need to learn to pay more attention as he’s been recovering for a bit. I sent Lamb Chop back to pick him up with the remaining PAX did a little bit of Mary before seeing the other PAX start to arrive down the hill. We went up and picked them up and arrived back to the new parking lot. Mission Statement and our 5 Core Principles were shared. SSH IC, Copperhead Squats IC, Michael Phelps OYO, Sun Gods OYO.

The Thang…

YHC got there early and placed 6 cones covering the perimeter of the new lot. Instructions are as follows. Visit each of the 6 cones and do 1 burpee at the first cone, 2 at the second, then 3,4,5,6. The second lap we do 2 Bobby Hurley’s, then 4, then 6,8,10,12. Third lap was 3s of Big Boy Sit-Ups(ie 3,6,9,12,15,18). Fourth was 4s of Squats. YHC added a 5th with single count SSHs for the gazelles(which wasn’t me). After the 6 finished the Squat round, YHC called a recover and we Bernie Sanders up the hill(thanks Tinfoil for the idea) which burned quite nicely. Arrived to the center square staircase at Etowah where more instructions were given. As we do a lap around the building(lots of stairs and long walkways up and down multiple times), every time you change a level(go up the stairs or all the way down the stairs), each PAX were to do 10 Calf Raises, 10 Mericans, 10 Squats(these were going to be Plank Jacks but forgot my plan in the chaos, I think the PAX got a break since I forgot). Originally planned for 2 laps but there are a lot of steep stairs, and the lap is pretty long. The gazelles almost finished the 2nd lap I think. Brady Bunch was kind enough to run and get them to bring them to the brick planters to do 25 Dips IC before heading back to the flag to get about 3 minutes of Mary in. Was 40 degrees but no-one was cold.

Naked Man Moleskin…

Brad Pitt was the 6th man. Brady Bunch and/or Lamp Chop poked to get him to share a favorite quote or verse. Wise man with many years behind him gave us a great word that when we’re younger, we can sometimes be afraid to fail, and we lack confidence. He shared a quote he’s had in his office for the last 10-15 years that helps him to try even when failure is possible. The quote is “Fail fast, learn quick”. Thanks Brad Pitt for sharing wisdom with us!

Prayers for Brad Pitt’s M as she awaits hip surgery, prayers for Tru-Doh’s recovery and good news from doctors, prayers for Brady Bunch’s M as well as she’s waiting to hear word from doctors and a potential upcoming surgery.
