Plan was originally hatched to destroy the pencil necked chicken chested holocaust victims of long distance/speed running syndrome.  However since yellow bellied Manning didn’t show, I went with plan B which was to provide a good work out and come close to the 5k promise.

WarmUp:  20th of the month…. 20SSH, 20Merkins, 20MClimbers plus the world’s greatest stretch and 20LeverUps.

Part A:  Partner Up on the Player’s Zone on the sideline.  With the goal of 100 broad jumps between the two, partner A would perform broad jumps until partner B ran a gasser the width of the football field and then switch places with the partner A.

Part B: Tortoise and Hare.  Divide up and the tortoises ran about 0.4 miles while the hares ran 0.8 miles approx and come back to the football field where the bags were dropped.  Hares apparently failed on the precisely described route and were not able to beat the the Tortoises’ shorter route.   While the Tortises waited, we performed 20 SupermanScorpions.

Part C: SandBag Drag:  Partner up.  Partner A drags the bag 20 yards crawl bear style while Partner B performs 20 LeverUps and then goes to the bag and drags it another 20 yards…  so on and so on till the football field is covered.

Part D: Tortoise and Hare.  Again, same groups except for belly achers complained so they received a shortened version along with 2 reinforcements to their group.  Even with that, the Hares still managed to complain about unfair treatment.  Once completed, back to the sand bags.

Picking up the sandbags and to finish it off at the corner of the football field we gathered for 20 reps of 2 step – Side Shuffle Elbow Planks combined with Peter Parkers.  Then to the flag and the COT with prayer requests for:

• @Bloodhound ‘s MIL cancer as well as his own father who has cancer and decided to carry on and face what may come as is.  Pray for strength for all the family as they support each of them.
• Both @Cricket and @LawDog have friends who recently passed from C-V.    Pray for the families left behind as they face carrying on.
