03.09.2022. 2100 hrs. E.T. Booth M.S. 5 men rucked out, 6 men rucked back.  There are apparently 4 different climate zones between Eagle Drive and Eagle Watch.  It was pleasant, as well as cool, as well as warm, and even cold, too.  We made foolish decisions crossing Towne Lake Motor Speedway when the red hand said to stay put.  We looped all the way around Eagle Watch Drive and back.  We pushed pace all evening and especially up the many hills we encountered.  Conversation was enjoyable, as always.  WaHo was kind of basic, but the conversations continued, and we got refueled.

Mouth-2-Mouth answered the summons despite a knee injury, and I hope he doesn’t regret it.  Keep resting and listen to your doctor, so you can do this long-term, bro.
Dropbox has not dropped the ball on this favorite workout of mine, and I’m grateful for his leadership.
So glad Hass is still a regular.  Dude is making sure his Dad Game stays on point into his children’s middle and high school years. I love the example you are setting for us, my brother.
Honored to have Stopwatch out past his bed time.  Wearing shorts as always.  Quietly listening and encouraging his brothers. Mensch.
Gut Check wanted to come so badly, he joined us mid-route despite a prior commitment, being a great dad and serving his community.  He made sure the back of the pack stayed lively.

We missed our brother 8-Bit, who is down with a back injury.  Bro – stay plugged in with the 2nd and 3rd F’s.  We are praying for you.

So you know, and I had to look this up today, Woodstock’s E.T. Booth (the namesake, not the school) was a beloved member of our community a hundred years ago.  He was a pastor, school teacher, and the principal of the Woodstock School for nearly two decades in the 20’s and 30’s.  His son, E.T. Booth, Jr., was a physicist who was (along with his Columbia University faculty) the first to demonstrate nuclear fission in the United States.  Now we know.

Keep rucking. Thanks for reading. Jesus lives. Bye.
