Intro:

Take 2 on our 5k run. Beautiful weather today perfect for a run (or 2 runs)

Warm-o-Rama:

Meet up at the amphitheater at noon. Been in the newsletter and slack for weeks that it was noon, but with the reschedule and sports starting many pax said they would be running late. YHC tried to stall as long as possible but some big mouth PAX took over and off we went at 12:30. Oh yeah, OYO stretching while we all talked smack and berated YHC over his planning skills.

The Thang:

same course as Chik-Fil-A 5k and Travis Manion. Amphitheater towards the gravel path and to the bridge, out to Heritage Park taking all rights and back around the other size of the oval and back the way you came. Al watches agreed it was exactly 3.1 miles perfectly. Trill was the Winner of the month, Babyface definitely didn’t cheat to make sure that happen.

COT:

After Heat 1 all returned we gathered while YHC and the M (Luna) gave an update to our current status of the adoption phase. For those of you that couldn’t make here is that update:

From Marc and Kate Sheridan we would like to thank everyone for their support, mentally and financially during this endeavor that we doing, we are still discussing our options and have not chosen a specific path yet. Those paths, before today (more in that later), are Domestic Adoption out of the states of TN and FL (due to laws and ease of adoption process). Along with Embryo Adoption out of the state of TN. Since we have been asking for donations I would like to be very transparent with what that adoption money is being used for, so far we have submitted for 2 grants to fund a domestic adoption, which would also be transferable to an international adoption which we are now considering after some discussion. It will be a very trying time for us (mostly Kate) as we proceed through this.
