Another early morning gloom sighting of MegaCan nearby Historic Downtown Canton Cannon Park.  The PAX of Rattlesnake Riviera rose to the challenge.

Warm up: A quick ruck down Waleska St and back to the square.

The Thang:

Phase 1-Using the square layout of the the park , the PAX filled MegaCan with a sandbag and as a group , lifted and carried MegaCan to the first corner of the square. Then, calling out one PAX from the group for MegaCan duty , the PAX assigned is to complete 5 rotations of lifting and placing the sandbag on the ground and then lift the sandbag and placing back inside MegaCan. The remaining PAX are to complete PT until the rotation cycle is completed. The group will then lift MegaCan and carry it to the next corner and rotate out the PAX for MegaCan duty….wash, rinse and repeat. After a full circuit of the square, phase 1 is complete.

Phase 2- All PAX formed up single file and proceeded with an indian run with the leader of the run rolling MegaCan. With the 6 coming from the rear of the line , they assume lead and continue to roll MegaCan. The circuit of the indian run is as follows, Head south and connect with S Church St , at the corner of S Church and Elizabeth St, turn east on Elizabeth to connect with E Marietta St. At the intersection of Elizabeth and E Marietta St , turn north on E Marietta St and continue on back to E Main. At the intersection of E Main , turn west and back to the square for some PAX led PT before moving on to phase 3.

Phase 3-  Leaving MegaCan at the flag but the group shuffled with rucks on south from the park to connect back on S Church St and stopping at the crosswalk across from Canton Municipal Court, PAX held air chairs for the 6 to rejoin the group. Once the 6 rejoined the group we returned the same route the way we came at the beginning of phase 3. With about a minute left , we had to make it back in time, so we finished strong with ruck sprints back to the flag.

MegaCan rules : Carry phase -MegaCan cannot touch the ground during the carry or there is a PT penalty for the whole group at the Q’s discretion. Rolling phase- MegaCan cannot stop rolling or there is a PT penalty for the whole group at the Q’s discretion.
