For some reason, 43 degrees felt brisker than you would think.
Anyway, that’s it.
I kid, I kid.
PAX lined up in somewhat of a circle pre-ruck…at 5:30 A.M., EST, we moved down East Main Street which turns into West Main Street, and left on Railroad Street Left on West Marietta Street, and then right on West Marietta Street…I know what you’re thinking…Charmin screwed this up, but you’d be wrong. They’re both West Marietta Street. Made our way to the three-way intersection and left up Dr. John T. Pettit Street, the little brother to the HOD. Q instructed PAX to allow the gazelles to go free and wild and at a pace of their choosing, top of the hill and then back down to pick up the 6th man. Then go back up the hill and hold a plank with 1 merkin every 15 seconds…there was a lot of whining and griping, but they followed the instructions. Meanwhile, the Clydesdales galloped up the hill huffing and puffing through all adversity defeating the overstrain of gravity pulling down their front mid-section (translation: the fat guys walked up the hill irrespective of their fatness). Together, PAX rucked back down East Main Street and made a semi-circle around the downtown strip with 2 minutes of Mary awaiting them at the Gazeebo.
Any mumble chatter worth mentioning is likely not appropriate for this audience. A couple of complaints, perhaps a questionable joke or two and, a ton of motivating, cheering on, and uplifting one another throughout the ruck. A solid group of dudes, dare I say HIMS. Wouldn’t want to roll out of bed with my beautiful M, SSS (well, I didn’t shower or shave, but I never leave for F3 without a BIG S) and into the gloom with anybody else than my F3 brothers.
Following tradition, we ended within a Circle of Trust, Macintosh was the sixth man and spoke about his 1 year anniversary coming up in March and committed to an anniversary VQ at the Rattlesnake in March. When asked about how we can pray for him, he recognized that he is incredibly blessed in life and that prayers were not necessary today.
Announcements: Charmin self-promoted his Q this Saturday at the Woodshed at 7:00 P.M., EST (this is a 0.0 beatdown and not for the faint of heart). Its located at 6688 Bells Ferry Road, Woodstock, GA at the intersection of Bells Ferry and Town Lake Parkway. You’ll hear certain and relatively clean jokes that Charmin may have botched at other beatdowns earlier in the week along with other great Mumble Chatter from the HIMS that bless this AO with their continued presence. You do not want to miss this Saturday, again, Charmin Q at the Woodshed, 7:00 A.M., EST. https://goo.gl/maps/vv8aCcNkSDBoRmAf9. Be there or be…you know…
Oh, and our young man leader Mr. P-Body has a Robotics State Semi-Championship.
Prayer Requests:
Biebs with his foster children/court hearing and hopefully decision in his family’s favor.
Chops continued prayers for the Cherokee High Head Volleyball coach that passed earlier this week in his sleep.
Charmin asked for prayers for his friend/F3 brother that is having some family concerns
Charmin again asked that everybody check his Woodshed Q this Saturday, and also asked for prayers for his fellow PAX currently shouldering situations that they’re being burdened with, either spoken or unspoken.
Prayers for a successful run at the Robotics competition for P-Body
Nano was kind enough to pray for us using his most eloquent voice and Godly words.
