You got that right, Rock.

Ahh, ugle morning yet glorious! Much mud, a light rain and warm temps. Barely gloomy.

And no one gave up during this morning’s beatdown, thanks to Rocky’s inspiration.

PJ, The Count, P-Body and I think Chubbs started with a super-stud standard of about 3 miles before the workout. Good work, men! YHC went out to meet them in the gloom but they gave me the slip. I got a good mile in anyway.

We started at 5:30am we moseyed and circled up for warmups and the talk. We went right into a 7-minute Tabada workout, which was great but the You Tube people had funny names for the exercises, like “jumping jacks” and “sit-ups” whatever they are. Weird. We improvised with side-straddle hops, big boys, etc., muddled through, rode the Rocky song cover — “Gonna fly now” — for all 7 minutes the glorious end.

Off to the deserted street for a Rocky Run. That’s a sprint to Market Street and back, stopping at each firhydrant for a burpee, each bench for 10 dips and each intersection for Rocky Balboas.

Once back, we did 7s with squats and SSHs, with one mode of transportation other than a sprint.

We then did Marys in the mud — hand-release merkin was a favorite, with BBs and LBC, and HRM again.

Back to the flag for Dealer’s Choice, and whew, it was time.

We lifted up P-Body for his recent successes on the ACTs and his future successes, which we all know he will have. Bet on it. We also lifted up the Wolfson family, and PJ for further shrinkage (is there anything at all left down there?) and good results tomorrow or Monday, and for all of our families, because we all have crosses to bear along with the joys of family life.

Much talk about coffee quality from those who never bring coffee.

The awesome men then disbursed to bring manly awesomeness to the world.
