THE THANG: a rush beat down, works like this. Men are divided into bands of three. Getty Lee, Alex Leifsson, Neil Peart.
Every band grabs a set of drum sticks, bricks. A Rush playlist commences. With every song, one band member plays the drums through the entire song. This is an air chair, arms, extended, fully, up and down up and down :-). The other two band members alternate between a Stationary exercise and a traveling exercise. When the traveler returns, the stationary guy goes out traveling. The band plays like this for the entire length of a song. At the song change, YHC calls out a new set of traveling exercises and stationary exercises, along with the announcement to change drummers. This continues until the allotted time expires.
