Warm-o-Rama;
A light mosey as Sooorie prepped the racing chair. After a couple of laps we circled up for a some light PT, covered the 5 core principles of F3 and Speed for Need’s mission, followed by a demonstration by Sooorie of how the chair operates. Sorry JB, no flesh anchor in the demo this morning.
The Thang:
We separated into two columns , and in rotation, two PAX would run a loop around the parking lot while the remaining would complete peer led exercises by either myself or Sooorie. When the PAX pushing, finished their loop, they would each complete a “pit maneuver” by lifting and replacing an 80lb sandbag in the seat of the chair.
After a few rotations in the column, we gave the chair a break and completed a couple of loops around the parking lot, indian run style. With the time drawing to a close, we pushed back to the flag, circled up for my favorite painful exercise….the burpee.
It was an honor to lead you men today.

What is Speed for Need’s mission?
Our Mission
The mission of Speed for Need is to raise awareness and foster inclusion of those with a special need through participation in fitness events supported by the men of F3 Nation.
We push Track Commanders (riders with a special need) in customized racing wheelchairs to help them participate in and complete fitness events such as 5Ks, 10Ks, or marathons – experiences that they would not be able to have on their own.
