It was a beautiful, rainy day, to be at the Stoneclad.  A couple pax performed a pre-ruck at 4:45am.  YHC was not one of them, but was fully prepared to have a full slate of activities for when the fun began.

Warm – O – Rama: Quick mosey to obtain our coupons from the former dry riverbed, now newly formed lake.  Performed Weedpickers, OYO Sun Gods, and OYO Michael Phelps.

The Thang: YHC, eager to share in the misery of a torrential downpour, had created a special workout playlist as an ode to the lyrical geniuses of our generations who specialize in the use of overly repetitive words.  Within each song, came a special word or two, or even three at times, that allowed all pax to partake in additional fun.  The songs were as such:

“Feel this Moment” by Pitbull and Christina Aguilera:  Keyword “Moment”: Every time the word “Moment” was mentioned, Pax performed a Burpee.  In between Burpees, Side Straddle Hops were performed.

“Tubthumping” by Chumbawumba: Keyword “Down”: Burpees for every time “Down” was said, high knees in between.

“Flower” by Moby: Performed curls based on the instructions of the song.  “Bring Sally up” raise the coupon, “Bring sally down” hold the coupon halfway for a serious bicep burn

“Thunderstruck” by AC/DC : Keyword “Thunder”: Hold the squat in between while carrying the coupon, jump squat with coupon with each instance “Thunder” was mentioned.

“Sexy and I know it” by LMFAO: Mountain climbers during the verses, Alabama prom date when the Chorus was sung, and J-Los performed when “Wiggle, wiggle” was uttered.

“Pump up the Jam” by Technotronic: Alternating lunges in between, push press the coupon when “Pump”, “Jam”, and “Day” were uttered.  This song was where Pelosi announced his admiration for the song “Barbie Girl” by Aqua.

“Roxanne” by Arizona Zervas: Keyword “Roxanne” and all female pronouns; Freddy mercuries performed in between, box cutters performed each time “Roxanne” or a female pronoun was uttered.  (Let’s be real, we ended up doing Boxcutters the entire time).

“Epic Sax” by JR Serpent: Monkey Humpers the entire song

“Blue” by Eiffel 65: Keyword “Blue” and “Die”; hold the plank, every time “Blue” and “Die” was mentioned, Mike Tysons were performed.

“Some Nights” by Fun: Keyword “Night”;  Hold the plank again, every time “Night” was mentioned, Makhtars were performed.

“Closing Time” by Semisonic: Keyword “Closing Time”; Imperial Stormtroopers in between reps, Burpee performed at each utterance of “Closing Time”.

We wrapped up on time and threw our Coupons back to the lake which it came from to perform our COT.
