The Happy Jack, 3-4 miles of high intensity bootcamp beatdown. The Not So Happy Jack, sandbag beatdown. The Almost happy Jack – A 2.96 mile sandbag beatdown. Oh so close.
Warmarama consisted of 3 rounds of Happy Jacks, run with the bags across the lacross fields towards the track. Stopped allong the way for Imperial Walkers, Weed Pickers and Windmills.
Indian run with the sandbags from the bottom of the hill up to the parking lot by the skate park and tennis courts. 10 squat presses with the sand bag, run a lap around the parking lot. 9 squat presses and run a lap, 8 squat presses and run a lap, and so forth until 1 squat press and run a lap.
Mosey to the grass area by the pickleball courts for 4 corners. 4 get ups at corner 1, 8 lunges with sandbag at corner 2, 12 curls at the 3rd corner, and 16 rows at the 4th corner.
Line back up for an indian run on the track back down the hill. As we got to the bottom and started up to cut across the grass back to the lacross fields, it was a glorious sight. What a perfect little hill. We got to stop here for something. 3 man-makers (burpee with a sandbag squat press) run up the hill and do 3 more man-makers. Up and down the hill 3 or 4 times, who can remember.
B
Back to the flag for some flutter kicks holding the bags and J-lo’s with plank on the bags.
Name-o-rama and COT
Thanks to Sgt. Slaughter for taking the trip up North. Apparently he liked the Happy Jack Shirt so much he had no choice but to drive 20+ mins to join us so he can say he did post at the Happy Jack when he wears the shirt.
Bloodhound loves his Sandparents as much as the sand babies because YHC dropped it on the asphalt and was quickley corrected that that is not the way you should treat the bag.
Floppy – Pull those shorts down a smidge below the belly button gramps. Next thing we know he will be rocking the white NB sneakers at the witch.
C4 – Did you know he use to work for Henry Kissinger.
