Dang! This morning was foggy! I have to say that I am pretty jealous of all you guys that create meme’s for your workouts. I haven’t mastered that yet. I just have a picture.
We had an awesome turnout this morning with 10 PAX at the Vineyard. It was great to be back out in the gloom sweating and working hard.
We moseyed up to the middle school, where I had four stations set up around the entrance loop. We started out with 25’s, then the next loop we did 50’s and the last loop, we did 75’s. Then we rinsed and repeated – players choice.
At the bottom of the hill, we started out with 5 burpees because I hate them and every workout should have at least 5!
At the top of the hill we had 25 V-Ups (first round), 50 flutter kicks (2-count, second round), and LBCs (third round).
On the far side we had the Merkin station: 25 Inclined Merkins (or otherwise known as Nipple Scraping Merkins), 50 Derkins, and 75 regular ol’ fashion Merkins.
At the bottom of the stairs that station had: 25 dips on the wall, 50 calf raises (point toes out, in and straight for variety), and 75 overhead air presses.
At the last station (where we started) we had 25 star jumps, 50 lunges (25 each leg) and 75 squats.
We all made it through all three rounds. Most of us were able to sneak in a fourth round. @Tiny Tat did 10 rounds! JK, but I think he did at least 5 or 6.
Then we moseyed on back to the flag where I had us line up and bear crawl from one line of a parking spot to the next. At the first line we started out with 1 merkin and increased the number of merkins by 1 at each line. I called it quits after 6. Then we did round robin after that, until time.
Fun was had by all.
At the COT, we prayed for all those in F3 impacted by Covid. We also prayed for the family of Steve, who passed away suddenly over the weekend. Our very own @Mouth-2-Mouth administered CPR in an attempt to save his life, but was unable to. M2M is a true HIM who happened to be there when he collapsed. And we also prayed for the family of the AD at The King’s Academy who passed away this weekend from Covid.
We are extremely blessed with health and the ability to workout in the gloom. Let’s not take life for granted, nor our families. You never know how long we have to make an impact on this earth. Let’s make the most of it while we are here.
I love you guys and am thankful that you push me to be better all around!
