The Thing:

It was progress check week (no warm-a-rama) at Murph City and we had a solid turn-out with 3 Pax posting at Murph City for their first time.  It was quite in the gloom as every Pax worked their ass off either finish The Murph for the first time or set a new PR for themselves.  Everyone finished and several new PR’s were set!

• 100 pull ups
• 200 merkins
• 300 squats
• 1 mile

Announcements:

This Friday is 3rd F Breakfast – 6am at the Resurrection Anglican Church – come out and listen to @The Butcher share his story.  The Clinic is a great place to post @5am; it’s just a half mile down the road from Resurrection Church

Honoring the Fallen:

We honored Col. Jay Varges, USMC. who served our country for 29 years in the USMC earning the Medel of Honor for his heroism in the Vietnam War.  He was later honored with the Purple Heart medal.  After he retired from the Marines, he went on to serve our Veterans as the Secretary of the California Department of Veterans Affairs from 1993 to 1998, and then was appointed to the position of Regional Veterans Liaison for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Prayers: 

• Continued prayers for @Brady Bunch and his M, Victoria.
• Prayers for Pax who are living through a busy season of life and not able to post as much, specifically calling out to @Slow Burn and @E-Tool that we reach out to these men and be there for them.  And encouraged that we all look out for our fellow Pax that we have not seen in a while
