Warm-O-Rama

Mosey to the end of the parking lot. We did SSH, weed pickers, hillbillies, and Michael Phelps OYO.

The Thang:

At the top of the parking lot, I explained the exercise of the day, “The Sheldon Cooper”. I received the inspiration from the F3 exicon, but I tweaked it a little bit for the space. We started with 10 shoulder tap burpees and 10 squats. We then took a lap around the parking lot, which is roughly an 1/8 of a mile. We then did 10 merkins and 10 big boy sit-ups. Then took another lap. We repeated these exercises going down 1 rep each time starting at the top with the shoulder tap burpees. So the count for each lap was 10, 10, 9, 9, 8, 8, e.c.t. We did these reps and laps OYO modifying when necessary. For time, I ended the Shelton Cooper with most of the group having 1-2 reps left. We then head to the flag and I lead flutter kicks IC and High Dive finished off with t-bombs IC.

COT:

6th Man – Sega: Shared how F3 has made a positive impact in his life.

Announcements: Dunshire is moving to Cumming, so it was a sad farewell, but promises to be back at some point

Prayer Request: High Dive’s Grandmother for health concerns

It was an honor being able to Q. It was only my 3rd time posting at the Colosseum, and I was welcomed with open arms. I shared with the group that I am an introvert and F3 has been such a blessing challenging me to be a leader and be more sociable. In a way, I can relate to Sheldon Cooper’s social awkwardness, which was the inspiration to choose this workout. All in all, it was a awesome foggy day at the Colosseum.
