The BackBlast:

Intro: Back to the Kodiak, its been awhile

Warm-o-Rama: Mosey into the stadium and warm up outside the gate to the track.

10 weed pickers (Swisher or Lawdog pointed out how unPC it was when we used to call these Cotton Pickers. I can’t which it was as one of the two is constantly yammering on about something at any given time)

10 wind mills

10 hillbillies

The Thang: Let’s get to it. Do a Cooper, but instead of a simple run around the track YHC opted to have the PAX snake the bleachers on both sides between reps. And instead of reducing the number of reps after each lap we pulled a GroundHog day repeat of the same reps, scratch that, after two round we doubled the reps. Laps 1 and 2 we did 10x squats, 10x merkins, 10 BBSU. Laps 3, 4 and 5 20 of each.

That’s when the lacrosse team started showing up so we exited stage left and line up for Doracides. Partner A started with exercises while Partner B took off running to the first parking lane and head back to the start. Flip flop and Partner A goes to the next parking lane and back. Continue all the way across the parking lot. Doubtfire and his partner(s) finished the full 100 merkins, 200 imperial walkers, 300 LBCs and was growing impatient with the rest of us, so we went back to the flag for some Crunchy Frogs to bring us home.

COT: Prayed for Ellie and Nora. Its hard for us to wrap our minds around small children dealing with major illnesses, but we have to put our trust and faith in His plans for our lives. Prayed for peace for the family members going through these trying times.

Naked Man Moleskin: It was great to lead the mean of Kodiak again. Not a ton of chatter this morning as the PAX were getting after it. Lawdog didn’t even mention his new socks until the very end, probably upset that nobody took notice earlier and complimented them. Legionnaire or Westside must have been up in the press box when lacrosse practice kicked off. Just the Two of Us blared through the scoreboard and I threw up a little bit in my mouth. At least there is the Crossroads to look forward to on Friday with Lively to wash out that terrible excuse for music.
