Time to explain the rules

The Thang:

The goal of Barkley is of course 5 laps. Since the start of the Barkley Marathon in 1995 there have only been 18 finishers with 0 finishers for the 2018 AND 2019 races. Surely, the men of the Vineyard will fare better….

Start at the base of the stairs and perform 10x Lunges (Rubicon Count)

Run up the stairs 3 times, performing 10x Lunges (Rubicon Count) at the top and the bottom (total of 60x Lunges)

Run around the school to the top of the parking lot to the base of the small hill and perform 10x Monkey Humpers

Run up the hill and and back down 3 times, performing 10x Monkey Humpers at the bottom and the top (total of 60x Monkey Humpers)

Run around the school to the side and perform 40x Donkey Kicks on the wall

Run to the front of the school to the bus lanes and  perform 3x wind sprints of 10 bus lanes

Run down the stairs and across the parking lot back to the base of the stairs to begin again

Lap 1 complete

Rinse and repeat until time expires or in the unlikely event, you finished (SPOILER ALERT: no one finished)

Naked Man Moleskin:

The Vineyard has a solid group of men. They don’t always show up on time (Silverado) or show up willingly (SGT Slaughter), but they show up none the less. This solid group of guys is what is at the core of F3. Go Daddy said it best during the COT and that is the motivation to keep me coming back. Congrats to Tiny Tat for setting a new record, that was crazy. Welcome Old Maid. I’m glad that you are now a part of this crazy group. I appreciate each and every one of you men and look forward to many more posts.
