Warm-o-rama

YHC download the Exicon yesterday and started scrolling through the list of thangs and noticed “parking lot tracer.”  Hmmmm.  Haven’t done it before, so it can be used for the warm-o-rama.  We began to mosey and YHC was going to stop to explain the tracing, but the PAX decided to sing happy birthday to YHC.  It was allowed and once completed, YHC stopped and attempted to explain at which point the pax traced all the lines across the Vineyard parking lot in some fashion.

The Thang

With the tracing complete, we gathered near a corner and YHC attempted to explain Four Corners Escalator.  Not sure if it’s the early morning or just something in the water, but PAX (YHC included) sometimes find difficulty in simple instructions.  Or maybe it’s just Saluki.

Starting in one corner we did 4 exercises in increasing rep count:

  • 10 – SSH
  • 20 – Monkey Humpers
  • 30 – LBCs
  • 40 Squats

The PAX then run to the next corner to repeat the exact same set of exercises and rep counts.  Should they wish, the 10 SSH could be replaced with 10 Merkins.

On two sides of the “box” the PAX were to nur to the next corner.  Unless your name rhymed with BigLoogie, then you kinda did one or the other.  Or maybe 10 reps of each.  Like YHC said, must be something in the water.

This continued for 3 iterations until YHC and Nesquik brought in the 6 where the remaining PAX were waiting doing some mountain climbers.  At this point YHC got the vibe this was getting old so decided to pull out another one from the tome of Exicon.

PAX were told to mosey to the grass round-a-bout, but Nesquik said something like “Woe is me.  That is far.  Are you sure you want to go that far?”  (Paraphrased).  YHC saw other grass near a FDC thingy (Hank Hill got all excited and asked if we new what that was for).  The PAX circled up for…..FIRE DRILL

  • High knees until the first PAX shouts “FIRE!”
    • Drop down, roll right, perform 1 Merkin
    • Roll left, perform 1 Merkin
    • Get up and return to HIGH KNEES!
  • This repeated until all PAX have had their turn in shouting FIRE

At this point, YHC said to start with Saluki and continue to the right.  Saluki took too long apparently as Nesquik called FIRE first.  All PAX dropped except Hank Hill.  He’s one stubborn bastard and declared that he wasn’t dropping because Saluki didn’t call FIRE.

Anyone else ever have to babysit during their Q?

We continued until all had called FIRE and moseyed back to THE flag where Saluki lead us in a final exercise until we ended on time what we started on time.

COT

Prayers for my (Gambler) Dad.  He was seriously injured in a vehicle accident on Sunday and, while currently stable, has a long road to recovery.  Prayer also for Nesquik’s Pastor and wife as they battle COVID-19 and for Nesquik as he will be delivering God’s message during their recovery.

Thanks to Butterfly for (good) coffee, Nesquik for awesome b-day treats, special visit from Lexi and all the PAX for great mumble chatter during coffeeteria.

Naked Man Moleskin

YHC knows he has slipped physically over the last year so tries to plan the BDs in a crock pot or OYO fashion to not hinder those that are more capable.  But this is F3.  While YHC’s intention was to not hold anyone up, Nesquik stayed with me at each corner, offering mumble chatter and support.

This is F3
