Till the Thunder Rolls

It started off at 4am with a huge thunderstorm. 2.0s we’re waking up and Ms were asking “are you seriously going out in this!?” Half of the HCs bailed and the other half of us came only for the coffeteria that YHC had promised. As I assured the guys, the thunderstorms passed just in time to take off at 5 and once our latecomer (ahem, F.C.) joined us, we were off.

The Thang:

We ran BD The Slab neighborhood complete with the big hill. All PAX ran the whole neighborhood which is exactly 5 miles and a few overachievers went further. (Nobody attempted the big hill a second time for some reason.) There were no records set on the big hill today so the reigning champs keep their titles till another day.

COT happened, prayers were lifted up for BB’s M and all those dealing with COVID.

Coffeteria was held in the clubhouse with breakfast casserole, sausage balls, fruit, donuts and of course, coffee.
