In an effort to set baselines, challenge the pax, and bring some good old fashion competition to the BD YHC came up with a grueling round of exercises that made everyone cry with joy over the fun pain we endured.

Mosey and quick warmorma lead into the introduction of the “T5”

Test 1: 2min hand release merkins for max reps

Test 2: 2min of squat jacks while holding 40lb SB for max reps

Test 3: 2min Wall Walks for max reps

Test 4: (Burpee Shuttle Run) For Time:  Pax starts on a parking line when time start you run to the first line to your left and do 1 burpee. from there you run back to your right running all the way to the 2nd line to your right and do 2 burpees. You then run 3 lines to your left and do 3 burpees. This process is repeated until you have completed 10 burpees.

Test 5: (The Lower Body Crucible) For Time: Pax starts on parking line and runs down 5 lines then runs back to the start then runs down to the 10th line and then back. From there you do burpee broad jumps from the start line to the 10th line. Pax must then crawl bear back to the start line. Once at the start line pax grabs a 40lb SB and sprints to the 10th line and then back.

This was tough and fun. The secret sauce were some tough Mo Fos willing to push their bodies to the limits and battle the guy next to them. The quickest way to get stronger and faster is to chase down the guy that is stronger and faster than you. Today we all did that.

The T5  was a success on week 1 but it will get better. YHC plans to spread the love and keep the stats. Hoping to run a lot of pax through this and see men stack reps and slice times as we getting faster and stronger through out the year.
