The BackBlast:
Intro: YHC planned a nice stroll through Holly Springs. Didn’t expect all of HSPD to be along the route or the hosting restaurant to snub us at the take out window. Who would be afraid of 3 sweaty out of breath dudes walking a drive-thru?
Warm-o-Rama: Clock strikes 0500 and Exile is out of the gate. Who needs direction? This is Covid-19 world, its everyman’s toilet paper for himself!
The Thang: Run down Marietta Hwy. from Martin’s to the Municipal center past, downtown Holly Springs. THEN double back to the train depot and down Palm St. to make up a few tenths of a mile the main road was lacking.
All-in-all Mandals and Exile had a good plan of running to 3 miles and turning back.
Maaco still gets the gold star for following directions, he was also awarded for being the Port-a-john spotter.
In attempts to conserve his gloves this week, LC gets the most prepared award. I think Gekko was staying close just in case of a TP emergency
COT: Prayers for normalcy and healthy outcomes in all this Corona-virus madness that we are all likely to be facing for the next few weeks. And for Mandals, poor guy couldn’t remember his name after this mornings run.
Naked Man Moleskin: As always this AO has the best 2nd F. We were snubbed by the Martin’s drive thru… how the sensors and drive thru attendants didn’t register Exile’s massive tree trunk legs and school boy smile, I’ll never know.. FYI; the guy dips chick-peas into smashed chick-peas. So, we took it down to Dunkin’.YHC really enjoys the coffee-teria. Laughs, recipes, and recaps of the morning events with your fellow HIMs. SYITG… at a safe distance.
