The Thang:

One of my favorite routes from Canyons, N on Main St. to Ridgewalk then behind Costco back to Ridgewalk, behind the outlet mall, down Woodstock Pkwy to Towne Lake Parkway, and then back to Canyons covering 4.51 miles. The pax enjoyed the route which has some good elevation and flats.

I truly appreciate the pax who showed up to support my 2-year anniversary and the encouragement each gave me during the COT.

What a journey for YHC and some major changes in my life and accomplishments but none of this could have been possible without the support of the pax in F3 Cherokee. When I look to the pax to my left and my right I see men who I respect and believe in and I can only pray they see the same in me. Without you men, I could have never accomplished the physical part of F3 and the growth as a man, husband, and father.

I was never a runner and only a gym rat. My first time at the Flying V I walked more than I ran. Today, I had 8:34 first mile, 9:49 second mile (dog trouble) third mile 8:30, and fourth mile and half 14.27 for a pace of 9:01/mile. That’s the fastest I have run at the V or anywhere for 4.51 miles.
