So, a certain member of Radio Silence (not to mention any names — HUSTLER) left our flag at Murph City (JJ Biello Park) on Monday after participating in The Murph. Thankfully, our very own Sooorie recognized this and grabbed it on his way out (before it could potentially be stolen). To deter this “reckless behavior”, Sooorie offered to “sell” it back to Radio Silence for a price of 150 burpees in 15 minutes by either of the Site Qs. HIM Paper Jam stepped in and split the burpees with YHC (new Site Q, filling in for Biebs) at 5 AM prior to our BD. (Much appreciated, PJ!) Thus, our debt has been paid, and Sooorie will return our beloved flag to its rightful place. Moral of the story: bringing site flag — GREAT idea — leaving without it — NOT such a GREAT idea.
Warm-O-Rama:
Mosey up between tennis courts, around gazebo, and back around to the parking lot.
Exercises:
SSH, Weed picker, Imperial walker, Sun gods (in cadence, LOL), and Michael Phelps OYO
The Thang:
Divided into 2 teams (one 3-person and one 4-person). Starting at the hill going up to the Heritage Club, one team on either side of the road (on sidewalk), 1 person from each team carrys concrete cinder block up the hill while remaining team members do 10 merkins. Upon completion of merkins, next person “in line” catches up to cinder block carrier, “baton” is passed, and he continues to carry block while remaining team members do 10 more merkins. This continues until both teams reach the top of the hill.
Next, we did DORA in Heritage Club parking lot:
- 200 crab cakes
- 300 Carolina dry docks
- 400 monkey humpers
One partner does exercise while the other jogs a lap around the “island”, and then they switch. (Numbers above are cumulative for each partner pair.) Since we had uneven numbers, for the group having 3 people, each of the 2 people not doing the exercise was required to carry a cinder block when going around the “island”.
On the way back to the “flag” (which we didn’t actually have), each person took turns carry both of the cinder block (one in each hand), arriving at our desired location exactly at 6:15.
COT:
Hadn’t seen Binks or MacIntosh at RS for awhile, so that was cool! P-Body was 6th man. Small World shared about Mansplain’s mom and step-father (Bart?) being involved in an accident, which took Bart’s life — please continue to keep them in your prayers. New BD at River Green kicking off this Tuesday — please come support the launch! Praise for PJ’s PSA numbers going down — continue to pray for shrinkage. Thanks to PJ for bringing the coffee (even though I think he and I were the old ones partaking).
